Student Recreation Center

The Student Recreation Center provides opportunities to participate in both sport and leisure activities including basketball, swimming, cardio, and weight lifting.  Summer Advantage students are automatic members of the center and can go there to work out, meet with a trainer, or sign up for special fitness class sessions.

Outdoor Recreation Center

The Outdoor Recreation Center provides outdoor enthusiasts with the skills, information, and gear needed for an adventurous journey. You can find trips to take during the summer through the ORC or learn how to rock climb on the climbing wall in the SRC. Summer Advantage participants may also take part in an Adventure Trip during a weekend in mid-July.

Intramural Sports

During Summer Advantage, students can participate in coed softball, ultimate disc, frisbee, 5-on-5 soccer, sand volleyball, and 3-on-3 basketball. Each sport offers both a competitive and recreational league that participants can sign up for based on their skill level. Costs are included in your program fee.

Student Clubs and Organizations

There are hundreds (over 400, to be exact) student clubs on campus that may be of interest to you. Do you belly dance? Are you passionate about sharks? There's probably a student organization for whatever you're into. Statistics show that students who are involved are more successful in college and it's never too early to join.

Check out Coug Presence to see the full list of student groups and events.

Pullman Community Events

During the summer you will want to catch the Farmer’s Market and the “Concerts in the Park” series on Wednesdays. Each outdoor musical evening begins with a buffet dinner catered by a local restaurant.
